Another great North American land use renaissance is now emerging across the continent thanks to new possibilities enabled by pairing solar power development and agricultural production, or agrivoltaics, to which this dual-use development forum is dedicated.
Groundbreaking work is understanding solar's energy impacts on soils, surface water, groundwater and habitat, and ways to seize the multipurpose potential of integrating solar power development into symbiotic agricultural and/or ecological systems.
A new era of comprehensive land stewardship is combining solar development, conservation and best agricultural practices to harness the land's true multi-functional potential and unlock new values beyond megawatts, maximum employment & marginal tax revenues.
Immersive solar development, land use and dual-use experience of the very highest educational caliber working through comprehensive syllabus.
Exceptional speaker lineup of 70+ of today‛s foremost practitioners walking through 101-level instruction suitable for novices and state-of-the-art sessions and applied science.
70+ exhibitors will host another electric agrivoltaics exhibition, demonstrating the latest services and hardware, and co-hosting 2 of the official on-site happy hours 7/8 & 7/9.
12 scheduled networking events, incl. hot breakfasts & lunches each day, beginning with an official welcome drinks & hors d‛oeuvres event the evening of 7/8.
Dig into the details of a ground-mounted solar energy development, related land use issues and explore the dynamic dual-use potential of agrivoltaics.
Focused redevelopment track will detail resources, tools, grants and programs to repurpose brownfields and marginal lands for solar, aka brightfield redevelopment.
Fun, fast-paced face-to-face sessions connecting small groups of participants in guided discussions and Q&A led by seasoned agrivoltaics practitioners.
Add your spark and make your mark on the educational experience at North America’s first dedicated agrivoltaics expo by submitting a poster to be displayed on-site during the conference.
Follow up resource compendium bundled digitally and sent following the event‛s conclusion as reference material and
resource guide containing all the SFS24 presentations and bonus materials.

The North American Agrivoltaics Awards (NAAA) is an annual campaign to discover, elevate and celebrate outstanding achievements in the advancement of dual-use solar development in North America. Following open nominations, finalists best representing excellence in agrivoltaics and ecovoltaics are chosen by the host committee. Ultimate NAAA winners are decided via aggregated public and committee vote and will receive individual awards while being recognized on stage during the NAAA Ceremony and Reception on July 8 at the Solar Farm Summit.
